Review: The Adventures of Tintin

Director: Steven Spielberg

Starring: Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig

Year: 2011

Genre: Family

Rated: PG

Length: 107 min.

IMDB Summary: Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor.

Review:
In this charming and surprisingly fast-paced adventure, viewers of all ages will be entertained. What I enjoyed most were the little touches to a scene that elicited laughter and the animated action sequences. Captain Haddock causes the most laughter by far, but almost all of the characters--including two identical beat cops--make the audience laugh at one point or another. This surprisingly fast-paced romp is intriguing, witty and thoroughly enjoyable!

For Parents:
Some mild action violence

My Rating:
