female employee with ambition to burn arrives in his office.
Review:
I really didn't enjoy this movie. While the acting is decent, I don't see any redeeming value in this
film. The slapstick humor is so in-your-face that it's not even
funny. The jokes have all been done before. This movie gets a few laughs, but its over-exaggerated take on the news industry and feminism makes it a time-worn ordeal to watch.
For Parents:
There is
plenty of innuendo. I'm not opposed to innuendo or even a sex scene in a movie, if it
serves a greater purpose. However, the sexual
innuendo in Anchorman served no greater purpose and really turned
me off.
My Rating:
*
