Review: Tangled

Director: Nathan Greno, Byron Howard

Starring: Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Donna Murphy

Year: 2010

Genre: Family

Rated: PG

Length: 100 min.

IMDB Summary: The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is.

Review:
With spunk, songs and romance, Tangled is an enjoyable movie for the whole family. The plot and characters are interesting for an animated family movie, and there are some memorable songs. I particularly liked the Flynn Rider character, who added life and vivacity to the storyline. A creative twist on the classic fairytale Rapunzel, Tangled is a fun and well-made animated film.

For Parents:
Brief mild violence (evil stepmother, some drunks in a tavern who turn out to be friendly)

My Rating:
*****
